Sunday night was a court of honor in the Lincoln 3rd Ward. In honor of the many merit badges and advancements awarded, may I present:

A note that came in email suggests that I use the "ih" letter for "y" in "trustworthy" rather than "ee" as I've done here. That follows the Deseret Reader approach better. Thanks for the suggestion!

I originally tried to publish this entire blog using the Huneybee font which reproduces text using the Deseret Alphabet, but found that it was confusing to readers who did not have the font installed to see the strangely formed words. Indeed the extensive use of symbols (~`!#$%^&*_-+=) to create all of the 38 letters in the Deseret Alphabet using the Huneybee font makes it look like a blog full of bleeped profanities when the font is not present!

For this reason and also to ensure that comments and other text are always displayed in Roman characters, I have reconsidered the blog and decided to use images for the text passages represented in Deseret Alphabet.
